August Fun!

We had a ton of fun in August trying to soak up every bit of summer that we could!  I've got to say, this has got to be my favorite age so far (but I think I say that at every age!).  Kinsley is doing something new every day!  She is starting to put 2 or 3 words together (and many more than 3 if you count baby talk!).  Our new favorites are thank you (which sounds more like Da Do) and love you (which is Aaaaah Ooo).  She is also walking like a champ (videos to come in the next post) and is into everything!

It took us until the end of summer to figure this out, but putting Kinsley's floaty in the baby pool is genius!  She can touch the bottom, so it's like a big bumper car for her to run around in.  She can't tip over, and can't crawl out!  She loves it!

Daycare was closed for a week in August, so for a couple of days our good friend Lisa watched Kinsley.  She had a blast playing with Lisa's kiddos, Kylie and Gavin!  Lisa was so nice to take some pictures and send them to me so I could see what they were up to!

For the last few days that daycare was closed, Aunt Andrea came to the rescue to watch Kinsley!  We had such a great time with her, thanks so much again Aunt Andrea!!

On one of Nana's babysitting days in late August, they got out the new baby pool.  Not only did Kins love it, so did Bubba, who jumped right in to cool down!

This may be one of the last crawling videos we have, so I've got to post it.   Kinsley found her cookies and bee-lined right for Mom to open them!  Check out how she slides on the bag of cookies...she does this all the time with books, papers, etc.  Very efficient!
