North Carolina

In late August/early September, we flew down to North Carolina for a week and a half to see great-grandparents and hit the beach!  Just like last time, Kins LOVED the sand and water!  We also had some friends join us for parts of the trip which was so much fun!  Tons of pics of course, so here we go...

Graham, Tricia and Griffin drove down from Raleigh the first weekend to stay with us!  Kinsley and Griffin are only about 6 months apart and were TOO cute together!  The first night we went to dinner at the restaurant on the golf course, which is also on the inter-coastal waterway.  After dinner the kids ran down towards the water, and we decided this is where they would get married one day!  How adorable they were on that little mound!

Before they had to leave, we all went up to Wilmington for lunch on the water.  We had an awesome lunch and stroll to get ice cream....can't believe we've never spent time in Wilmington before, we loved it! 

The girls and kiddos.  Tricia only has 6 weeks to go, and is having another boy!  Our younger ones will only be 2 months apart, so fun!!

The Mattes Family

We went down to Great Grandma and Grandpa's house one evening for a swim and some dinner.  I absolutely LOVE seeing Kinsley swimming in the pool that I have so many memories of growing up!  Such a special thing for me!

Mama's best friend, Stacy, and her family (Andy, Dilynn and Taylor) flew down from KC for labor day weekend.  It was her girls' first trip to the beach, and they sure loved it!  Here is an adorable pic of her adorable family!

Nana and Papa flew down for the last couple days we were there, and the whole gang went to the beach one last time!  This particular day was all about buckets of water and sand castles!  Kinsley made probably 100 trips to the water and back!  :)
