5 Months Old!

We've had an eventful first couple of weeks of the new year!  The day after we got back from Alliance, the Huskers played in the Capital One Bowl.  We won't mention the outcome of the game, but we had Nana and Papa and our friends Jen, Jeff and their daughter Lauren over to watch it with us!  Nana and Papa were there to see Kins one last time before heading to North Carolina for 2 whole months!  Not sure that Nana is going to make it!  :)
Nana with Kins wearing her new hat made by Great Aunt Louann!  How cute is that hat!?  Thanks so much Aunt Louann!
Playing with her buddy Lauren...they were a good distraction from the game!

Getting ready for bed...when she's in her room, her new sleeper is like camouflage...she totally blends in!

We've amazingly had a few 60 degree days over the last couple of weeks, so we made sure to get outside to take some walks!  Unlike back in October, Kinsley actually now stays awake for the entire walk and absolutely loves peering around at everything!
I swear she is really enjoying her walk here, even though it really doesn't look like it!

One quick pic of cuddling with Dad...just love these!

Kinsley turned 5 months old last week!  As always, we can't believe how fast time is flying!  Here she is on her birthday in her new outfit from Aunt Andrea!

Brody turned 5 years old on the same day that Kinsley turned 5 months (I'm sure he was just thrilled to share that one!).  Happy birthday Bubba!  You have been such a great big brother!

The birthday kids!  :)

And one last birthday pose with Dad!

Chewing on her giraffe, another Christmas present from Nana and Papa.  She chews on everything these days, we keep waiting for that first tooth, but no signs yet!

She is still going strong with the rice cereal, although I'm pretty sure she ends up wearing as much as she eats!

And on another night, she decided that she can use the spoon all by herself!  :)

Kinsley attended her first birthday party last week for her friend Lauren!  Happy birthday, Lauren!  We had so much fun celebrating with her (and her Mom and Dad!).
Jen and I with our girls!

Playing with the adorable birthday girl!

Brody grabbing some Mom time after "that girl" went to bed!  :)

Kins showing off her strong legs, and her new outfit from Grandma!  She can stand up for a few seconds now if propped up a little (but you've got to catch it fast!)  Such a big girl!
